As the face of the Boss One underwear campaign, the former soccer star has been sharing a lot about the line with his Instagram followers. Between the images and reels he’s dropped, the reveals have been relatively straightforward. His fans have a lot to say, though, and I’m not surprised Ferguson was amongst the commenters. What makes this preview particularly intriguing, though, is Shults’ insights on the fascinating journey that led to the creation of this visually appealing yet unsettling project. Interestingly, the movie is closely tied to and greatly influenced by The Weeknd’s latest album with the same name. At the time of filming, the album was still in its demo phase. During the scriptwriting process for the film, these two artists collaborated to produce a movie and an album, each piece influencing the other as they evolved.

Today, the teaser for the upcoming movie Final Destination: Bloodlines was made available on social media and YouTube (as shown below). This tantalizing sneak peek offers a hint of what awaits us in the sixth installment of the series. The story begins with a close-up of a girl getting her tongue pierced at a tattoo parlor, followed by an upset employee who decides to put on a rendition of Badfinger’s “Without You” and tattoo the word “Dad” onto his own skin. After completing his work, things take a dark turn as he is chained up by his nose ring to a ceiling fan before plummeting into a nearby fire. The tagline, “Death Runs in the Family,” appears at the end, followed by the release date of May 16.
