The movie begins by slowly panning over an empty American highway, a sight that triggers our minds to anticipate fear due to decades of exposure to true crime narratives. We’re led to believe that something gruesome occurred here; this peaceful roadside location appears to be a crime scene ready for retelling in a foreboding narrative. Shackleton, the narrator, plays along with this assumption, establishing what seems like a typical documentary setup. However, he abruptly breaks his narrative. This isn’t a documentary about the Zodiac Killer; instead, it’s a documentary about a documentary that the Zodiac Killer never made about himself.

Watching Whitney, Bela, Kimberly, and the latest addition, Kacey, in their dorm, beaming with joy, was truly delightful amidst a season that tested the girls severely. But the absence of a dramatic season-ending cliffhanger doesn’t diminish the continuation of the Essex girls’ tales. In fact, I firmly believe there are even stronger arguments now for the series to be renewed for a fourth season.

According to reports, Stevens is in talks to return as Trapper for the unnamed sequel of “Godzilla x Kong,” scheduled for a spring 2027 premiere. Last year, he starred in three films, among them “Cuckoo” and “Abigail.” His upcoming projects include “The Ritual” and “Swiped,” both slated for release in 2025, and “Onslaught,” a collaboration with director Adam Wingard, yet to be dated.

The three-part TV event titled “Chicago” aired on January 29, with “Chicago Fire” starting at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, followed by “Chicago Med” at 9 p.m. ET, and concluding with “Chicago P.D.” at 10 p.m. ET. Similar to the “Infection” event in 2019, the order of “Fire” and “Med” was swapped this time around, which might seem insignificant considering the continuous nature of the three-hour broadcast, but it does bring an interesting factor when analyzing the viewing statistics.

2025 TV lineup finds “Law & Order: SVU” returning with a chilling case that began as one victim’s ordeal but spiraled into an alarming pattern of workplace exploitation for Captain Benson and the team, involving multiple women over years. Detective Carisi struggled to gather ironclad evidence, leaving Benson to seek out the crucial testimony of a potential witness who could put the culprit away. This storyline echoed back to the early days of Mariska Hargitay’s character before “SVU,” and I can’t help but wonder what her career was like before joining this elite unit.
