Initially, Wolfpack and Man-Bat were thought to replace Weasel on the team. According to Gunn’s revelations, the vampiric Vincent Velcoro was almost included but eventually became Dr. Phosphorous, while Solomon Grundy – the most well-known among them – was also considered before being replaced by Frankenstein.
