Despite Sony Pictures’ decision to keep the sixth installment of Insidious on their schedule (Screen Gems will distribute it), there is no clarity regarding the project’s status. It continues to be in pre-production, with only producers confirmed – a group that may include Jason Blum, Oren Peli, and others.
