During their latest earnings call, Netflix announced that the $11.99 per month basic plan is being phased out. This means that subscribers like me will only have two choices: pay $6.99 for the ad-supported tier or shell out at least $15.49 for the standard ad-free option. While I’m all for innovation, this price hike leaves me feeling a bit squeezed.
