I enjoy watching some horror films that are highly regarded, both for their terror and comedy elements. I appreciate a good jump scare, but I draw the line at excessive gore and scenes involving harm to humans or animals. The Saw series, with its reputation for intense brutality, isn’t my cup of tea. I’ve only seen one film in this franchise, Spiral (the Chris Rock movie), which isn’t considered a standout by many fans. I have no experience with the original Saw films.

This year, Kiran Rao’s “Laapataa Ladies” directed by her, produced by Aamir Khan Productions, was a huge hit. The movie introduced new actors Pratibha Ranta and Nitanshi Goel alongside Sparsh Shrivastava. All three actors received tremendous appreciation for their performances.
