Although a series might end after just a few seasons or episodes, it can continue to leave an enduring impact for many years afterward. Such is the case with “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” which spanned two seasons (2008-2009) and 31 episodes in total. This series was a spin-off from the Terminator films, following the storyline after the events of “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.” Despite not being a ratings success, it had a dedicated fanbase who advocated for another season before the network ultimately decided to cancel it. Now, more than a decade since its final episode, “creator John Friedman is looking back on the show’s cancellation and pondering whether he feels content with its ending.

In September, E.L. Katz’s religious horror film titled Azrael is set to debut on Shudder on October 25, 2024. This eerie flick makes for a chilling Halloween viewing experience. Starring Samara Weaving as Azrael, the story follows a woman who manages to break free from a wicked cult’s captivity, only to be pursued by its members for a sacrificial ritual. Interestingly, both the protagonist and the movie title carry an angelic or demonic undertone that warrants closer examination.

The cherished “Toy Story” franchise remains a favorite across all age groups, and though we’ll have to hold our breath until next year for another film installment, an exciting new merchandise related to the series promises to shake things up significantly. Although the movies strive to create an illusion of reality, one of the most adored characters from this franchise is about to leap off the screen in an extraordinary manner. Fortunately, fans of “Toy Story” will have a unique opportunity to get their hands on this limited-edition product before the holiday season rolls around.

Initially, the concept seemed incredibly promising: an action-packed movie featuring the powerful boxer Jason Statham, who had recently shone in movies like “The Italian Job” and “The Transporter”. The addition of Ray Liotta, under the skilled direction of Guy Ritchie for a blend of crime drama and philosophical mystery, was expected to result in an outstanding film. However, what we got was quite the opposite – a complete flop. Released in 2005, “Revolver” turned out to be a high-concept jumble whose muddled interpretation failed to resonate with viewers, resulting in harsh criticism and a dismal performance at the international box office.

For over 2 decades, Family Guy has been entertaining and offending audiences, in equal measures, across the globe. The adult-oriented animated series is currently on its 23rd season but has a surprisingly limited number of Halloween-specific episodes under its belt.
