The follow-up to “Joker: Folie à Deux” has underperformed at the box office, scoring an unusually poor D on CinemaScore. This new rating makes it the lowest-rated comic book film ever, surpassing the previous record holder, 2015’s “Fantastic Four,” which received a “C-.” Interestingly, the 2019 predecessor of “Folie à Deux,” titled simply “Joker,” had managed a higher grade with a “B+.
