As a passionate TV viewer, I’ve often found myself mourning the premature end of a series that had immense potential, but was unfortunately cut short. It’s disheartening when a show needs more than just one season to truly find its rhythm, yet the competitive nature of television sometimes doesn’t grant a series the necessary time to grow an audience. Unfortunately, Netflix, which once prided itself on giving shows the chance to find their audience, has been known to cancel series prematurely. The list of these canceled Netflix series has grown so large that it’s sparked a viral hashtag on social media, as fans reminisce and pay tribute to some of the platform’s former television gems.

With Mattel, now riding high after the massive success of Barbie, diving headfirst into the movie scene with various IP projects, it’s no surprise that they’re gearing up for a film based on their iconic Matchbox toy cars. Fans of WWE have plenty to be excited about right now! Starting in January, Monday Night Raw will be available on Netflix, Smackdown is currently airing on the USA Network, and Saturday Night’s Main Event is making a comeback in December as part of the company’s deal with NBCUniversal. According to Variety, the first special will simultaneously air on both NBC and Peacock on December 18 at 8e/5p, and it will be broadcast from its original location, the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island, New York, where it all began almost 40 years ago.
