The film “Emilia Pérez,” directed by Jacques Audiard, has been drawing attention since its debut at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Jury Prize and shared the Best Actress award with its female ensemble (consisting of Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofia Gascón, Selena Gomez, and Adriana Paz).
