Amazon’s streaming service, Prime Video, is adding AI technology to its platform, enabling viewers to access instant TV recaps with a simple click instead of watching the entire show. This means no more needing to watch previous seasons of shows like The Boys before Season 5; Prime Video will soon be able to summarize each episode’s content for you. Some may find this development perplexing, but Amazon argues that this new feature is something viewers have been eagerly requesting.

While Kevin Smith might be known for View Askewniverse classics such as Clerks, Mallrats, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, he’s also been known to dabble in horror from time to time. 2011’s Red State was his first foray into the genre, and while that one was a straight-up thrill ride, Tusk and Yoga Hosers crossed the line into horror-comedy territory. Zemeckis was at the helm of all three movies starring Michael J. Fox in the science fiction franchise, which started with Back to the Future in 1985 and concluded in 1990. Since then, there has been a 26-episode animated series and a short film titled Doc Brown Saves the World, included on the DVD and Blu-ray 30th anniversary sets released in 2015.

Viewers who watch the movie “Heretic” may wonder why there’s an end-credit disclaimer stating, “No artificial intelligence was used in the creation of this film.” The directors, Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, decided to include this remark for a particular reason within their recent horror production by A24.
