During one of Disney Channel’s golden eras, I spent my childhood years immersed in their original TV shows and films. Consequently, I became deeply fond of many outstanding ones. As time passed, I outgrew my fascination with Disney Channel Originals when Wizards of Waverly Place first aired, but the announcement of its reboot, titled Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, piqued my interest due to the potential for further revivals.

Previously this year, the movie “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” was scheduled for release in 2024, and much like its predecessor, “Godzilla vs. Kong”, it proved to be a massive box office hit. However, that wasn’t the only MonsterVerse story worth watching in 2024. In January, the Season 1 finale of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” was released, and just a few months later, the announcement for Season 2 followed. As of now, it remains undetermined when Apple TV+ subscribers can look forward to streaming the upcoming episodes of “Monarch”. However, Anna Sawai has given us some insight into what she believes will happen to her character, Cate Randa, in the next season, and I wholeheartedly concur with her sentiments.

As a die-hard movie enthusiast who’s got a soft spot for heist films, let me tell you that “The Italian Job” stands tall in this genre, boasting not one, but two unique interpretations. The initial flick graced the silver screen back in 1969, while its contemporary version hit cinemas in 2003. Both pictures revolve around a gold heist set against a breathtaking Italian backdrop. While certain elements link them, each film also offers distinct differences that set them apart.

With the Marvel Cinematic Universe about to celebrate its 20th anniversary, the long-awaited introduction of the Fantastic Four is imminent, marking their entry into this ever-growing universe (excluding John Krasinski’s portrayal of Mister Fantastic in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness). One of the Marvel films scheduled for 2025, titled The Fantastic Four: First Steps, will feature these characters inhabiting a different universe instead of the main MCU reality. However, it’s confirmed that the Fantastic Four will also make appearances in the next two upcoming Avengers movies. I’m eager to see how Marvel’s original superhero family will play a part in the climactic finale of The Multiverse Saga.
