It’s challenging to think of another former president that evoked such strong reactions across the ideological divide. In a country heavily influenced by identity politics, people tend to strongly dislike whoever stands against their preferred party. However, Trump’s campaigns have seen an escalation in the intensity of disputes, with his candidacy once again stirring up passions.

Over the weekend at New York Comic Con, “Daredevil: Born Again” made its appearance. The stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’onofrio unexpectedly announced some official details along with the release date to thrilled fans. The future of the superhero was in doubt following Netflix’s cancellation of the show after three highly praised seasons. But now, Disney+ is stepping up to continue the story of the Man Without Fear. Interestingly, “Daredevil: Born Again” will introduce a significant alteration to the original series and expand the development of a beloved villain.

With Halloween fast approaching, movie enthusiasts everywhere are on the lookout for a chilling yet engaging film to satisfy their seasonal cravings. Lucky for them, Netflix has just introduced a new thriller to its collection. Titled and featuring Anna Kendrick in her directorial debut, this gripping drama premiered on Netflix on October 18th. It is inspired by the harrowing true tale of Rodney Alcala, a notorious serial killer who charmed his way onto the set of the 70’s dating show, The Dating Game, while he had already claimed the lives of five women. Kendrick portrays Cheryl Bradshaw, one of the unlucky contestants who won a date with Alcala.

As a passionate admirer, I can’t help but express my fascination with the History Channel’s captivating series “Vikings”. This mesmerizing depiction, centered around the legendary character Ragnar Lothbrok (portrayed brilliantly by Travis Fimmel), immerses us in a world of ancient Nordic gods, valiant shield-maidens, and axe-wielding warriors adorned in snug leather. The series unfolds against the backdrop of a largely untamed North Sea.

Often, people view Halloween as marking the beginning of the annual festive period. After indulging in an annual sugar spike from candies, many begin planning for Thanksgiving and commence their Christmas shopping.
