Microsoft has reached a settlement regarding an antitrust dispute initiated by video game enthusiasts over its proposed $69 billion purchase of Activision Blizzard.

In the year 2002, the movie “28 Days Later” made its debut in cinemas, rapidly gaining favor among horror enthusiasts due to its rapid-fire action and swiftly attacking zombies. The film’s themes of contagion and hidden political critique earned it acclaim from both critics and fans as a work that redefined the genre and revitalized the zombie movie. However, prior to “28 Days Later”, the 1980 release “Nightmare City”, directed by Umberto Lenzi, had already escalated the intensity and brutality of the zombie genre while also offering commentary on the growing nuclear arms race, setting a precedent for the genre’s evolution.

It appears that Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman might be in contention for hosting the Oscars. As the awards season approaches, Hollywood’s grandest night is in need of a host to steer its ceremony. In the past, the Academy Awards has experimented with different hosting strategies, such as going without a host or employing multiple hosts. This year, it’s speculated that they may turn to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the characters Deadpool and Wolverine, portrayed by Reynolds and Jackman respectively, for next year’s show.

Actress Peyton List has somehow moved into a world beyond the physical, making her character from Disney Channel even more popular with Cobra Kai. However, it’s her role as Maddie Nears (somewhat distant) in the Paramount+ series, School Spirits, that has garnered her the most attention. In this show, she portrays a high school student who resides in the supernatural realm, which she revisits with the recently released film titled Girl Haunts Boy.
