As a gaming enthusiast, it’s no secret that Lindsay Lohan has faced some challenges in Tinseltown, but she’s come out on top stronger than ever. With a couple of films lined up in 2024, including the upcoming “Our Little Secret,” her latest project, I can’t help but feel inspired by her energy. In a recent conversation, she dropped one of the iconic lines from “Mean Girls” that had me totally on board with her cool demeanor.

Disney is known for its beloved animated blockbuster movies, including golden era titles like Beauty and The Beast and The Lion King. But there’s also been some great modern classics in recent years, including Frozen, Encanto, and Moana (all of which are streaming with a Disney+ subscription). The latter’s sequel just arrived in theaters, and while I enjoyed Moana 2, losing Lin-Manuel Miranda’s music really hurt the blockbuster.

As a cinephile, I rarely witness such a collaborative effort among major film studios like Warner Bros., Paramount Home Entertainment, and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. Yet, here we are celebrating the release of a remarkable piece, Alfred Hitchcock: The Iconic Film Collection. This limited edition coffee table book features pristine 4K UHD transfers of six timeless classics directed by the master himself during his most prolific period, spanning from 1953 to 1963. During this remarkable run, he gifted us with iconic movies such as Rear Window, To Catch a Thief, North by Northwest, Vertigo, Psycho, and The Birds. This collection showcases one of the most impressive stretches in cinematic history, and it’s now available with a wealth of special features to enhance our appreciation for this legendary filmmaker.

Michael Mann’s “Heat” continues to be a significant movie of the 1990s, and for its sequel, titled “Heat 2“, Mann chose an unconventional approach. Instead of creating it as a feature film, he collaborated with author Meg Gardiner to publish the story as a novel in August 2022. The release of “Heat 2” sparked discussions about whether it would eventually become a movie. During promotions for his latest project, “Ferrari“, in 2023, Mann hinted that he aims to transform his story into a full-fledged film.
