In the year 2024, on October 2, the seventh season of Netflix’s popular reality dating show titled “Love Is Blind” premiered. This season featured 29 singles residing in Washington, D.C., all searching for love without relying on physical appearances. As a result, seven couples developed strong emotional connections, and ultimately decided to get engaged with the intention of marrying each other.
The upcoming movie titled “The Princess Diaries 3” has secured its director, with Adele Lim, known for “Joy Ride”, taking the lead. Debuting in 2001, “The Princess Diaries” was a significant breakthrough for actress Anne Hathaway. In this film, Hathaway portrayed Mia Thermopolis, an American girl who uncovers her lineage to the throne of the fictional Genovian kingdom and learns her royal responsibilities from her grandmother, Clarisse Renaldi (played by Julie Andrews). The movie was a box office success, earning $108 million in the U.S., $165 million globally, all on a budget of $26 million. A follow-up, “Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement“, was released in 2004. For over two decades, fans have eagerly awaited updates about a third installment.
Renowned author R.F. Kuang’s satirical novel titled “Yellowface” has been purchased by Lionsgate Television, who aim to adapt it into a television show. The venture has selected Karyn Kusama (known for “Jennifer’s Body” and “Yellowjackets”) to serve as both the director and executive producer. Additionally, actress Constance Wu from “Hustlers” is also involved in the production of this project.
Brain Dead collaborates again with gaming hardware brand Higround, launching another line of exclusive accessories. In the previous partnership last year, Brain Dead, a creative studio based in Los Angeles, joined forces with Higround for their debut collection. This collection was snapped up almost immediately upon release.
