They include La Llorona, often referred to as “The Weeping Woman,” who is recognized in many Latin American countries; La Muelona, a monster from Colombian folklore that feeds on flesh; and La Siguanaba, a frightening creature with a horse’s face, hailing from El Salvadoran tradition.
