In 2019, Todd Phillips’ movie “Joker” was an unprecedented hit at the box office, raking in more than $1 billion globally and holding the title of highest-grossing R-rated film ever (until Shawn Levy’s “Deadpool & Wolverine” surpassed it this past summer). Consequently, there were immense anticipations for Phillips’ upcoming film “Joker: Folie À Deux,” which was slated to rule the cinematic landscape throughout October 2024. However, as is often the case with sky-high expectations, a significant twist occurred over the weekend in movie theaters.

Mark Hamill is well-known for embodying some of the most memorable characters from the last few decades, such as Luke Skywalker and the Joker in various animated series, films, and video games. Interestingly, one lesser-known role that Hamill has reportedly cherished deeply is also part of his impressive portfolio.

Despite this transition, details regarding the movie have been scarce, leaving even its lead actor in the dark about its future.

In the late ’90s, professional skater Chad Muska introduced his first signature shoe from éS: a highly popular model called the éS Muska, characterized by its thick sole. This shoe, which was also the first skating footwear to retail at $100 USD, gained immense love during that decade for its distinctive shape. Recently, after releasing a vegan version of this sneaker in a “Tan/Green” colorway earlier this year, éS Skateboarding has given it an update with a “Black/Royal” design.
