The much-loved terror-inflicting Good Guy doll, known as the iconic Chucky, has temporarily ceased its reign of fright – at least for now. The popular television series based on the horror movie franchise will not proceed with a fourth season. This announcement was made approximately four months following the conclusion of the third season’s second half on NBCUniversal’s cable networks. Although creator Don Mancini and dedicated fans are undoubtedly disheartened, I must confess that I find myself secretly content for several reasons.
