Idris Elba, the well-known actor hailing from London and recognized for his roles in “The Wire” and “Luther”, has been announced to star in an upcoming TV series titled “Things Fall Apart“. This project is being developed jointly by A24 and Elba himself, with executive production handled by both Idris Elba and Gina Carter through their studio, 22Summers. Yoruba Saxon, a production company led by David Oyelowo and Amanda N’Duka, will also contribute to the show. The series is set to be brought to life by Ben Forkner and Dayo Ogunyemi in collaboration with Achebe Masterworks, based on the widely acclaimed 1958 novel.
