After the glitter from the extended award ceremonies has faded, it’s now an exciting moment to focus on what lies ahead.
As a devoted fan, I find myself thrilled that Kieran Culkin has graced Broadway with his presence in the latest revival of “Glengarry Glen Ross.” This summer, though, seems to be booked for him as he dives into filming the third installment of “Dune” alongside Timothee Chalamet. Meanwhile, the rising stars from “Anora,” Mikey Madison and Yura Borisov, are yet to reveal their future endeavors, but they’re generating a significant buzz among studios and directors alike.
Here’s what the best actor and actress nominees have coming up.
Monica Barbaro (A Complete Unknown)
Following his current projects, Barbaro is set to star in the second season of the Netflix action-comedy series “FUBAR” and the movie adaptation of Don Winslow’s novel “Crime 101,” which will be released by Amazon MGM.
Yura Borisov (Anora)

Among the most prominent figures in Russian entertainment, he currently boasts three television series and a film in the final stages of production, with many more lined up for release in his homeland. However, he has yet to disclose any upcoming English-speaking projects he may have in store.
Adrien Brody (The Brutalist)

Brody is currently watching the independent film “The Bookie & the Bruiser,” where he shares the screen with Vince Vaughn in a drama set after World War II.
Timothée Chalamet (A Complete Unknown)

He’ll appear in Josh Safdie’s film “Marty Supreme,” produced by A24, portraying a 1950s ping-pong champion. He’s currently preparing for the upcoming “Dune” movie, with plans to begin shooting by summer.
Kieran Culkin (A Real Pain)

Following his Emmy wins for “Succession” and potentially an Oscar for his work on the Jesse Eisenberg-directed family drama, he’ll be stepping onto the stage for a revival of “Glengarry Glen Ross,” teaming up with Bob Odenkirk.
Colman Domingo (Sing Sing)

I’m thrilled to share some exciting news about myself as a fan! I’ve been chosen to portray Michael Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson, in an upcoming biopic. This marks my first directorial venture, as I’ll also be directing a biopic about the legendary Nat King Cole. Not only that, but I’ll be starring in it too! Additionally, I can’t wait to join Steven Spielberg’s next production, titled The Dish, alongside talented actors like Josh O’Connor and Emily Blunt. This is a dream come true for me!
Cynthia Erivo (Wicked)

Beyond the realm of Oz (where “Wicked: For Good” will be released this year), she is slated to appear in the adaptations, “Children of Blood and Bone,” by Gina Prince-Bythewood, and “Prima Facie,” which is being brought to the screen.
Ralph Fiennes (Conclave)

Coming next is “28 Years Later,” the newest installment in Danny Boyle’s zombie apocalypse series. This will be followed by “The Choral,” a World War I period drama from Sony Pictures Classics, which presents a stark contrast in theme.
Karla Sofía Gascón (Emilia Pérez)

After securing a deal with UTA after my movie’s premiere at Cannes, I was under the radar until some old social media posts resurfaced, criticizing Muslim immigration and other subjects. So far, no new projects of mine have been publicly announced.
Ariana Grande (Wicked)

Though Grande’s next venture is solely ‘Wicked: For Good’, Tinseltown is excitedly waiting for her return to the silver screen, with proposals ranging from a sequel to ‘Spaceballs’ to a romantic comedy about weddings.
Mikey Madison (Anora)

It’s still under wraps as to what project Madison might be working on after the Oscars, but her talent has placed her name high on the list of studios and filmmakers who are eager to collaborate with her. She’s received proposals for adapting Colleen Hoover’s works and has also drawn attention from directors like Greta Gerwig.
Demi Moore (The Substance)

Moore’s upcoming projects include Boots Riley’s unconventional film, titled “I Love Boosters“, featuring a star-studded cast including Keke Palmer and LaKeith Stanfield. Also, anticipate the long-awaited sequel to “St. Elmo’s Fire“.
Edward Norton (A Complete Unknown)

Despite whispers of Norton’s involvement in several high-profile projects (with Cannes fast approaching), the four-time Academy Award nominee remains silent about his upcoming part.
Guy Pearce (The Brutalist)

He’s planning to work with his director from the movie “Prometheus,” Ridley Scott, on a new project called “The Dog Stars.” In this film, he will be working alongside Jacob Elordi and Josh Brolin. Additionally, he has been cast in Netflix’s mysterious thriller titled “The Woman in Cabin 10,” starring Keira Knightley.
Isabella Rossellini (Conclave)

Rossellini has signed up for the Miramax romantic comedy titled “Silent Retreat” as well as the indie film “Temptations of Gracie” alongside Isla Fisher and Andie MacDowell. Furthermore, she’s slated to play the lead role in the biopic about Wallis Simpson called “The Bitter End.
Zoe Saldaña (Emilia Pérez)

She’s got multiple upcoming roles, including possibly a third season, for the powerhouse series “Lioness” by Taylor Sheridan.
Sebastian Stan (The Apprentice)

Bucky Barnes, played by Stan, will reappear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s film “The Thunderbolts.” Following this appearance, he has lined up a few independent projects. One of these is the horror-thriller “Let the Evil Go West,” where he will work alongside Lily James, his co-star from the series “Pam & Tommy.” The other project is “Fjord,” in which he will collaborate with Renate Reinsve, a co-star from “A Different Man.
Jeremy Strong (The Apprentice)

The actor from “Succession” is planning to take on the role of Bruce Springsteen’s manager, Jon Landau, in the movie “Deliver Me From Nowhere.” He will also join forces again with director James Gray for the upcoming crime drama titled “Paper Tiger.
Fernanda Torres (I’m Still Here)

The popular Brazilian actress boasts a vast following on social media, who are excitedly awaiting the announcement of her upcoming venture.
