As a longtime resident of both Los Angeles and New York, I’ve had the privilege of attending countless premieres, parties, and openings over the years. This week, I’m particularly excited to share with you some of the hottest events happening in these two cities that are not to be missed! On my radar for this week are the high-profile events surrounding the premieres of “Emily in Paris,” “Alien: Romulus,” “Bad Monkey,” and “The Union.” I’ve always been a fan of the creative minds behind these productions, so it’s a treat to see their latest works come to life on the big screen. Over the weekend, Disney hosted its prestigious D23 event in Anaheim, unveiling their upcoming TV shows, movies, and theme park improvements, as well as celebrating 14 distinguished Disney Legends such as Harrison Ford, Jamie Lee Curtis, Miley Cyrus, Angela Bassett, and James Cameron.
Alien: Romulus premiere
On Monday evening, Director Fede Álvarez and Producer Ridley Scott were present along with actors Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu at the Los Angeles premiere of the newest Alien movie.
The Union premiere
On Monday, Mark Wahlberg, Halle Berry, director Julian Farino, Mike Colter, Jackie Earle Haley, and Jessica De Gouw graced the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of their latest Netflix production.
Bad Monkey premiere
As a die-hard fan, I was thrilled to join Vince Vaughn, Michelle Monaghan, Meredith Hagner, Rob Delaney, Natalie Martinez, and Zach Braff in Los Angeles for the unveiling of their latest Apple TV+ series, masterminded by Bill Lawrence. What an incredible night!
Jackpot! premiere
On Tuesday, Paul Feig introduced his fresh action-comedy featuring John Cena, Awkwafina, and Simu Liu, in Los Angeles. The trio made a grand entrance on a double-decked bus along Hollywood Boulevard.
Emily in Paris premiere
Actors Lily Collins, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Lucien Laviscount, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Arnaud Binard and Paul Forman attended the Los Angeles premiere of the fourth season of a Netflix series on Wednesday, alongside its creator Darren Star.

On August 9th, the cast and creative team from “Abbott Elementary” participated in a discussion about their show as part of an FYC event held at the Paramount lot.

On Saturday, Roadside Attractions held a special showing of their upcoming movie titled “My Penguin Friend” at the Egyptian Theatre. In attendance were the film’s director David Schurmann, the main character João Pereira de Souza, and Jean Reno who portrays him in the movie.
AFI Conservatory honorary degree
At the weekend’s American Film Institute graduation, I was lucky enough to receive an honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts – a moment made even more special because it was presented by none other than my Halloween director, the legendary John Carpenter himself!
Cinespia True Romance screening
On Saturday night, I attended an exciting movie screening of “True Romance” hosted by Cinespia at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Notable attendees included Riley Keough and Amelia Dimoldenberg. It was quite a star-studded event!

Having spent many years pursuing a career in acting, I can say that the opening of Louis Stancil Acting Studios in New York City is truly exciting news for aspiring actors like myself. As someone who has struggled to find quality training and resources in this competitive industry, I am thrilled to see a reputable studio setting up shop right in the heart of Times Square, where opportunities are abundant. The ribbon-cutting ceremony they hosted on Saturday was a testament to their commitment to providing top-notch education and support to actors at all stages of their careers. I can’t wait to check out their new studio and see what they have to offer!

As a devoted fan, I couldn’t help but be there at World of Wonder’s toast for the second season of Avalon TV in the vibrant West Hollywood scene on Monday night. Surrounded by the dazzling presence of stars like Symone, Gigi Goode, Marko Monroe, Hunter Crenshaw, Grant Vanderbilt, and the dynamic duo of Caleb and Rylie, the atmosphere was electric!
RuPaul’s Drag Race roller rink event
On Tuesday, RuPaul’s Drag Race marked its 10 Emmy nominations by hosting a roller-skating party at E.P. & L.P., where RuPaul himself took on the role of the DJ.

CAA x LAUSD
As a passionate supporter, I was thrilled to accompany LAUSD superintendent Alberto Carvalho in welcoming students back to Venice High School on their first day. Being a former volunteer teacher myself, I passionately called upon local businesses to be part of School Day 2024 – an exciting city-wide initiative encouraging industry partners to commit to serving, mentoring, or financially supporting a LAUSD partner school for a single day starting September 14th.
“Inside The West Wing” 25th anniversary event
A portion of the cast from “The West Wing” gathered with Robert Gibbs, a former White House press secretary during the Obama administration, for a 25th anniversary celebration on the Warner Bros. studio lot. The event was in honor of Melissa Fitzgerald and Mary McCormack’s book titled “What’s Next – A Backstage Pass to The West Wing – Its Cast and Crew and Its Enduring Legacy of Service“.

As a die-hard Clippers fan, I was thrilled to be part of the grand opening of the Intuit Dome on Thursday! The festivities kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and an electrifying performance by none other than Bruno Mars. It was star-studded event, with big names like Jennifer Lopez, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Angela Bassett, Courtney B. Vance, Meghan Trainor, Kelsea Ballerini, Chase Stokes, Simu Liu, Halle Bailey, and Kenya Barris gracing the occasion. What a night to remember as the new home of my beloved team officially welcomed fans!

On Thursday, Andy Cohen unveiled his very first wax figure at Madame Tussauds New York, starting with a festivity in Times Square followed by an appearance on the show “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”
“All Out for Fallout“ day
Actor Aaron Moten marked “All Out for Fallout” Day, a special occasion inspired by the series’ 17 Emmy nominations. On this day, Amazon MGM Studios collaborated with 33 businesses in Los Angeles to provide unique deals and discounts related to the show. This celebration took place at the Santa Monica Pier.
