As a lifelong skater and fashion enthusiast who’s been following Palace for years, I can confidently say that their Winter 2024 drop five is a game-changer! With my roots deeply embedded in the skateboarding culture, I appreciate the brand’s ability to blend streetwear aesthetics with skate-inspired designs.
As the Winter collection from Palace unfolds, its fifth part showcases an array of eye-catching winter coats and accessories.
Initially, Palace Skateboards presents a t-shirt with their logo, neatly displayed as a wordmark in the center front. The same logo is rotated and made larger on the backside. Moreover, they introduce a more lively design on another t-shirt where “Palace” is illustrated in an old-school style, depicting a skater jumping over the capital P. Lastly, there’s a t-shirt design with a worn-out monochrome print featuring a wildcat’s face within heavy chain links.
Palace introduces a new collection of merchandise inspired by sports teams, continuing from their previous drop but with an updated twist. This time, they’ve reimagined the design into a comfortable crewneck pullover, featuring number 6 and a Palace-inspired club emblem. Additionally, another jacket design embodies the sports team aesthetic to symbolize New York, Los Angeles, and London, drawing inspiration from vintage American football merchandise.
Instead of it, the unique item showcases an Intricate Instarsia grape design and the word “Palace” curving on the side of the fruit. Available in cream and deep purple, this piece also includes matching trucker hats with a patch that looks like a produce sticker. The playful touch is the “Palasonic” sweatshirts, which blend color-blocked sections into red, blue, and green camouflage patterns.
To stay snug as temperatures drop, Palace provides coordinated fleece jackets and sweatpant sets featuring double-knee reinforcements. For extra warmth, they’ve designed hats complete with ear flaps and a hidden face mask. A more playful, cuddly option can be found in plush leopard print beanies, which include small ear-like attachments on the top.
