Actress Shruti Haasan teamed up with Akshay Kumar in the 2015 movie “Gabbar Is Back.” During an exclusive interview with TopMob, she shared a piece of valuable advice Akshay had given her: focus on the rewards rather than the awards. She remembered this guidance as life-changing for her.
During a recent interview on TopMob’s podcast, Shruti Haasan revealed that actor Akshay Kumar once advised her to prioritize the benefits rather than the accolades.
Shruti responded by saying, “Yes, this advice significantly impacted me because my home is filled with my father’s, mother’s, and even National Awards. This made me realize that I want to adopt a completely zero-waste lifestyle.
She added, “Then I replied, ‘Not now, I’m focused on work,’ and I’ll develop at my own speed; I’ll progress. Once I began to approach it as a system of rewards, not just financial rewards, but the reward system itself, I found it more enjoyable.
