FACETASM Joins Forces With Dickies on an Athletic-Focused Capsule Collaboration

As a dedicated gamer and fashion enthusiast, I’ve always been drawn to unique collaborations that merge style and functionality. The recent FACETASM x Dickies capsule collection is no exception. With its athletic-focused casual wear inspired by both brands’ distinct styles, this collaboration speaks directly to my love for ’90s basketball culture and functional workwear.

Tokyo-based FACETASM has teamed up with iconic workwear brand Dickies to create a collaborative collection of athletic-inspired casual wear. By blending design elements from both labels, this unique capsule brings the classic look of retro track pants and jackets into modern fashion, infusing them with Dickies’ signature utilitarian and functional workwear style.

As a fan, I’m thrilled to share that in this latest collaboration between Dickies and FACETASM, we’re getting three pairs of workwear pants and matching oversized chore jackets. The snap buttons on the side pants allow for a tearaway effect, taking inspiration from ’90s basketball tearaways where NBA stars used to easily remove them during warm-ups. These bomber jackets come in three colorways – beige, black, and purple. FACETASM’s trademark 7Bars motif graces the front of each jacket, along with a small Dickies logo on the pocket. The varsity cursive font branding is proudly displayed on the left sleeve. Functionality takes center stage in this partnership, staying true to both brands’ roots and technical aesthetics.
