As a long-time Jordan enthusiast with a collection that spans decades, I can confidently say that the Air Jordan 5 “Year of the Snake” is truly a sight to behold. The combination of the classic AJ5 silhouette with the intricate snake skin detailing and iridescent accents makes for an unparalleled design that speaks volumes about the craftsmanship behind these sneakers.
Product Name: Air Jordan 5 – “Year of the Snake” Edition
2025 is quickly approaching, and with it comes Jordan Brand’s annual Lunar New Year celebration. A glimpse at a “Year of the Snake” design for the Air Jordan 11 Low was shown in September, but this week we’ve seen previews of unique interpretations of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG and Jordan Stadium 90.
The Air Jordan 5 has been added to the team and showcases a “Year of the Snake” color scheme. Like previous models, it features an upper in a shade close to white, complemented by a black snakeskin tag. Although we’ve only seen one view of these shoes so far, they have a striking iridescent accent at the midsole and a semi-transparent outsole.
Currently, Jordan Brand hasn’t disclosed its plans for the Lunar New Year collection, which features this Air Jordan 5 “Year of the Snake” colorway. Keep an eye out for updates, including sneak peeks of the shoes, as we anticipate their release in early 2025 on Nike SNKRS and select stores, with a starting price tag of $200 USD.
