First Look Images of Celebrity-Filled ‘Dexter: Resurrection’

In a fresh continuation, Dexter Morgan is set to reappear on Paramount+. The platform has unveiled initial glimpses of the upcoming series called “Dexter: Resurrection“. This new show follows closely after the prequel series “Dexter: New Beginning“.

Michael C. Hall returns to portray the character Dexter Morgan, the enigmatic vigilante serial killer, in the latest installment of the series. The story continues from the 2021 limited series, “Dexter: New Blood,” where he was brought back to life after being shot by his son, Harrison (played by Jack Alcott). The plotline suggests that Dexter will confront the repercussions of his actions and face challenges such as the resurrection of his late adoptive father, Harry (portrayed by James Remar), and a potential new assignment from an undercover organization.

In the show “Resurrection,” David Zayas once again takes on his character Detective Angel Batista, a role he played in the original series. Joining the cast are several well-known actors such as Uma Thurman portraying Charley, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine as Blessing Kamara, Kadia Saraf as Detective Claudette Wallace, Dominic Fumusa as Detective Melvin Oliva, Emilia Suárez as Elsa Rivera, and Peter Dinklage playing Leon Prater. In addition, Neil Patrick Harris, Krysten Ritter, Eric Stonestreet, and David Dastmalchian are set to make guest appearances in the upcoming series. Clyde Phillips is the showrunner, with Hall, Scott Reynolds, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns also involved. Marcos Siega will serve as the producing director for this series.

Dexter: Resurrection premieres this summer.
