From January 13th to 18th, FOROM has set up its short-term Aire De Jeux pop-up display right in the bustling design hub of Tribeca, located in Lower Manhattan.
At our Brooklyn showroom, we’re showcasing a diverse selection of furniture and decor items, which includes pieces from our white-label collection as well as collaborations with design partners such as Frama, Project 213A, Hein Studio, Capppelen Dimyr, Marbera, Made by Choice, and Taehoon Lee. This exhibition highlights an array of sculptural designs crafted from natural and organic materials.
In this exhibit, I’m captivated by FOROM’s Nature Revisited collection, which takes its cue from the beauty of our environment with a modern twist. Pieces reminiscent of moonlit landscapes, shifting tides, and earthy stones are artfully crafted, making me feel like I’ve brought a piece of nature right into my gaming den.
As a design enthusiast, I can’t help but be captivated by the Marea Lounge Chair that elegantly stands out. Its sleek, polished chrome form is a marvel, with its fluid shape gracefully transitioning from the backrest to the base, creating a seamless curve. Close by, there’s the Poly Lounge Table, a striking black marble masterpiece sculpted into an asymmetrical polygon that adds a touch of modern elegance. Elsewhere in the space, the Etang Dining Chair catches my eye with its unconventional design. It features three flat wooden legs and amorphous boucle cushions, creating a unique blend of traditional and contemporary style.
Other types of upholstered chairs include a lounge chair resembling a boulder from Ukrainian brand NOOM, a cozy sheepskin chair called the 54 Chair by Dagmar, and the boucle-covered Arco Lounge Chair from Dusty Deco. Unique lighting fixtures such as Faina’s pendant lights shaped like clouds and Six Dots Design’s curvy aluminum candelabras are complemented by ceramics and glassware created by Spanish studio Canoa Lab and Danish designer Louise Roe throughout the display.
Aire De Jeux showcases an intriguing blend of contemporary designers worldwide, along with its comprehensive white-label collection, which reflects a harmonious balance between traditional and modern aesthetics. This mirrors the brand’s philosophy of enduring design that transcends time.
I’m thrilled to share that the Nature Revisited collection is now live on the FOROM web store! Alongside, you’ll find a variety of third-party products showcased in the pop-up. Check out the stunning images of the exhibit in the gallery above, and don’t miss your chance to visit the Aire De Jeux pop-up before January 18. Here’s the link: [Pop-up Address]
