As a dedicated fan of Halle Berry‘s illustrious career, I was thrilled to hear about her latest role in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming Hulu legal drama “All’s Fair.” Her addition to the already impressive cast, which includes Kim Kardashian and Glenn Close, promised to be a captivating addition to the small screen.
Halle Berry is leaving the practice.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor who won an Oscar is no longer involved in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming Hulu legal series “All’s Fair.” This decision was made due to a scheduling conflict with another project.
I’m thrilled to share that this month, I learned Berry will be part of the elite cast and is even executive producing with an impressive team, which includes Kim Kardashian and Glenn Close. We’re all producing together with Murphy and 20th Television.
Hulu and 20th Television declined to comment on Berry’s exit from the series.
As a gamer, I’d describe it like this: I once came across a captivating game where I stepped into the shoes of a renowned divorce attorney, Kardashian, in an elite all-women law firm based in Los Angeles. This isn’t just another dry legal simulation; it’s a glamorous and engaging experience that lets me navigate through the complexities of high-stakes divorce cases. Having collaborated with Murphy on American Horror Story: Delicate, I bring a unique perspective to the table as I unravel intriguing stories behind each case.
As a seasoned writer, I’ve come across many press releases in my time, and this one about Murphy’s new legal drama series for Hulu and Kardashian’s foray into law really piqued my interest. Having worked in the entertainment industry myself, I can appreciate the significance of a big-name celebrity signing on to produce and star in a new project, especially when it’s their first foray into a new genre.
Jon Robin Baitz, Murphy, and Joe Baken collaborated on creating the series for ABC, titled “Dr. Odyssey.” Jamie Pachino, Laura Greene, and Richard Levine are responsible for its writing. Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, and Holly Jeter serve as executive producers.
In her first television role since 2015’s CBS series “Extant,” Halle Berry was set to appear on “All’s Fair.” Following this, she will make appearances in the Netflix film “The Union” alongside Mark Wahlberg and in the horror-thriller “Never Let Go.” The latter required her to acquire the skill of skinning a squirrel for an authentic portrayal.
The show is projected to shoot in California for approximately 100 days, marking Murphy’s third production of the year to benefit from California’s tax incentive scheme.
