How to Get Mind Cores?
Mind Cores are hard to come across due to their rarity and can’t be used until the game’s Second Chapter. They provide players with significant buffs, helping them progress through the game’s harsh environment. Here’s how you can get them:
Defeating Bosses
In Black Myth: Wukong, you’ll encounter numerous formidable, merciless, and aggressive adversaries. There are over 80 distinct bosses to conquer. By vanquishing these foes, they’ll relinquish their spirits and Mind Cores (occasionally). You can gather them by interacting with their remains.
As a gamer, I can’t promise that every enemy I encounter will yield a Mind Core, but I can certainly count on Major Bosses across different chapters to drop one each time we face off.
Shrine Stores
Scattered throughout the map, you’ll find numerous Shrine Shops. These shops often carry Mind Cores, but their inventory can be scarce and may differ from one chapter to another. It’s recommended that you stop by a shop and buy Mind Cores based on your requirements as needed.
Mind Cores can also be found in random chests spread across the map.
Crafting Medicine
You can also use Mind Cores as currency to craft medicine. Go to Xu Dog (Near the Yellow Ridge Cellar) and interact with him. An icon will appear near the Shrine where he is in the closest vicinity. Speaking to him, he will open a menu, choose the “Make Medicines” option, and then select “Celestial Medicines.” You can purchase these using Mind Cores to get that extra boost.
You’ll need to complete a few quests before accessing Xu Dog’s upgrades.
