Though it may not be mandatory to gather every piece of data available, one cannot deny the necessity of amassing a substantial amount, especially as we advance in ranks.

In Zenless Zone Zero, players long for upgrading their accounts more than they do for gacha pulls and new characters. This stage of progress in ZZZ is referred to as your Inter-Knot level, which can be advanced by participating in almost any game activity. However, at times your advancement may come to a halt, requiring you to amass sufficient Observation Data from Zenless Zone Zero before proceeding further.

As a dedicated player, I can’t stress enough the importance of acquiring Observation Data promptly. This data is crucial for enhancing my Inter-Knot level, which is essential to progress through higher tiers in my characters and equipment. Without this advancement, I won’t be able to conquer challenging endgame activities such as Shiyu Defense and Hollow Zero.

How to Get Observation Data in Zenless Zone Zero

In ZZZ, you collect Observation Data by placing yourself in TV grids during Exploration Missions, finishing extra tasks within Combat Assignments, and overcoming Mewmew tests. You can engage with these assignments through the Hollow Deep Dive System, which is available in the Random Play video marketplace.

In simpler terms, the Exploration and Combat Observation Data icons appear as yellow spheres and red spheres respectively. Despite being distinct types, they contribute jointly to your progress towards leveling up. Therefore, focus on completing easier missions or challenges to amass these data types more rapidly.

While it’s not necessary to gather all Observation Data at hand, you’ll certainly require a substantial amount to make progress, especially as you advance in levels. For instance, moving up to Inter-Knot level 40 requires 125 Observation Data.

Exploration Observation Data

As you advance through the main storyline missions, you’ll automatically gather Exploration Observation Data. This data can be found in TV chests, which show a relevant icon during TV segments of both main and exploration missions. To collect these, simply move your character onto the tile, and the Exploration Observation Data will be added to your collection.
