I’m A Huge Butterbeer Fan, But Even I’m Shook About The Harry Potter Snacks Coming Outside Of The Universal Parks

The first time I savored Butterbeer at Universal Studios Hollywood left an impression on me. I’d always wondered what the famous Harry Potter beverage tasted like, and I was delighted by how delightful it turned out to be. However, to enjoy it now, I need to set aside a whole day for the best rides at Universal Studios. That might soon change, as several snack companies are teaming up with Warner Bros. Discovery to bring Butterbeer products to the market.

However, I have to say, some of these are so, so random.

Butterbeer Snacks Are On The Way To U.S. Grocery Stores

Starting on March 1st, fans of Harry Potter can expect to discover an array of Butterbeer-themed products in the snack section of U.S. supermarkets, as announced in a press release. In partnership with Pepperidge Farm, Keebler Company, and The Hershey Company, Warner Bros. is creating some exclusive snacks that carry the charm of the Wizarding World.

Among the assortment of tasty treats to consider are Goldfish Grahams with a flavor reminiscent of Butterbeer, Keebler Fudge Stripes Cookies inspired by Butterbeer from Harry Potter, Hershey’s Kisses also boasting a Butterbeer taste, and SkinnyPop Kettle Corn flavored like Butterbeer. What a diverse selection!

However, I Was Not Expecting A Few Of These Combinations

I’m really looking forward to sampling some SkinnyPop kettle corn infused with Butterbeer flavor. It seems like an ideal treat to enjoy while revisiting the Harry Potter films or the latest Wizards of Baking series featuring James and Oliver Phelps, especially with a Max subscription. Additionally, I’d be keen on trying Keebler Fudge Stripe cookies and tasting some Hershey’s Kisses. Butterbeer essentially combines the flavors of butterscotch and shortbread, offering a delightful sweetness.

Frankly, I’m quite surprised about Goldfish teaming up with Warner Bros. To be honest, the idea of a Butterbeer-flavored Goldfish doesn’t appeal to me in the slightest. Moreover, it seems entirely out of theme to me.

From a movie-loving perspective, the packaging suggests that the Goldfish snack contains the iconic smiling fish, owl crackers, and even a Butterbeer cup! The design is truly eye-catching, with its limited edition midnight blue and gold accents. Yet, despite its charm, it falls towards the bottom of my must-haves for this release.

It goes without saying, I’m thrilled that there will be enough Butterbeer treats for everyone in the Harry Potter community next month. I imagine many will enjoy the Butterbeer Goldfish!

Previously, it was disclosed that Butterbeer could now be bought at Orlando’s CityWalk, located outside the park, following the introduction of a limited-edition Butterbeer ice pop for summer within Universal Studios. It’s quite exciting to observe the gradual increase in availability of this drink, albeit only temporarily. I can’t help but ponder if other businesses might join forces with Warner Bros. on its taste as we edge towards the launch of the upcoming Harry Potter TV series. However, remember that this collaboration will end by May 31.
