I’m Not Surprised The Lincoln Lawyer Is Dominating On Netflix, But I Am Surprised It’s Outranking One Other Returning Drama

As a seasoned Netflix enthusiast with a soft spot for legal dramas and teenage mysteries, I must say that I’ve been thoroughly captivated by this latest turn of events. The Lincoln Lawyer, a series I’ve followed since its debut, has once again proven its mettle against some formidable competition, dethroning the much-loved Outer Banks from its top spot on Netflix.

In a surprising turn of events, Season 3 of “The Lincoln Lawyer” debuted a few days ago and has quickly become the most-watched series on the streaming platform, particularly in the U.S. I had anticipated that the show would be popular when it was scheduled for 2024, but I didn’t expect it to outshine another returning drama, namely “Outer Banks”.

It’s important to mention that “The Lincoln Lawyer” has an advantage in this case. The streaming service launched Season 3 of its Mickey Haller drama a week before “Outer Banks” Season 4 premiered, which attracted 15.5 million viewers on its first day. Once more, The Lincoln Lawyer has stealthily unseated another prominent Netflix series, a second occurrence that took place in 2023 when Season 2 was released. During this time, The Witcher, with Henry Cavill at the helm and already two weeks into its run, found itself dethroned by the newcomer on Netflix’s rankings. Remarkably, during its return weekend, The Lincoln Lawyer managed to knock a titan off its top spot not once, but twice.

Currently, “The Lincoln Lawyer” is dominating its competition on Netflix. Not only is it surpassing “Outer Banks,” but it’s also beating the newly released series “Nobody Wants This,” which, ironically, seems to be a show that viewers can’t get enough of. It’s also outperforming “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” and the latest season of “The Great British Bake Off.” In other words, the courtroom drama is leaving a strong impression among the current Netflix offerings, outranking some well-established shows.

To put it simply, The Lincoln Lawyer has garnered quite a following. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re missing out on an engaging courtroom series that packs a punch in terms of legal antics.
