Jared Leto’s Rep Denies Claims of Inappropriate Relationships With Women

An investigative article, penned by the senior editor of a digital publication named Elena Clavarino and published on Saturday, features interviews with nine women, most of whom chose to remain anonymous. These women claim that Leto, an actor who has been the face of the renowned rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars for decades, acted inappropriately towards them. Some also assert that they were underage at the time these incidents occurred.

One of the sources is a woman named Laura La Rue, who states that she encountered Leto at a charity event for animal rights in Beverly Hills, California, back in 2008. At that time, Leto was 36 years old and La Rue was only 16. According to La Rue, Leto paid her an unusual amount of attention, which even her mother noticed. After asking her age, it’s alleged that Leto also requested her phone number, which she gave him through an email service (Air Mail mentions this). She claims she did so because she believed he could help further her career in modeling.

After several months had passed, she paid him a visit at his residence. She recounted to Air Mail that he playfully teased her throughout our time together, and it seemed as though he was flirting with me. He would come closer, only to step back again, as if they were playing a game. For months afterward, she continued to see Leto, and during one such visit, Leto emerged from a room without any clothes on. “He just strolled out, completely naked, as though it was ordinary,” said La Rue, who was only 17 years old at the time.

Leto’s representative informed Air Mail that La Rue had applied for the position of Leto’s personal assistant – a fact which La Rue has since denied. This only serves to emphasize that there was nothing improper in any of their interactions between them.

A different, unnamed actress reported to ‘Air Mail’ that she first encountered Jared Leto when she was underage during a visit to his home. After reaching the age of 18, these visits allegedly turned sexual. The woman asserts that Leto exposed himself and began masturbating, and he also put her hand on him. However, Leto’s representative has refuted these claims by stating, “All of the accusations are categorically denied.

The article also featured a popular Twitter post by actor Dylan Sprouse from 2018. The post jokingly asked Jared Leto, “Hey Jared Leto, since you’ve sent messages to every female model between the ages of 18 and 25 on social media, what do you think your success rate is?” In response, filmmaker and DC executive James Gunn humorously commented, “He starts interacting with people at age 18 on the internet?
