In their ongoing partnership, JiyongKim and Clarks Originals have unveiled two fresh interpretations of the renowned Wallabee and Desert Trek designs. These models have been reworked using JiyongKim’s signature sun-fading style, imbuing these classic looks with a unique flair that enhances their timeless appeal.

This collaboration highlights JiyongKim’s commitment to marrying modern techniques with traditional shoe designs, following the success of their previous sold-out collection in September. For this new launch, the Desert Trek boasts a sun-faded fabric upper, resulting in a subtle color gradient and employing a raw-edge method that converts fraying into a stylish fringe detail. On the other hand, the Wallabee model showcases the sun-bleaching effect on its sides, enabling the unique technique to be noticeable from various perspectives.

The collection will officially launch on April 20, 2.p.m. Korean Standard Time, available through the designer’s

online store
as well as the newly opened JiyongKim Hannam Store. In response to customer demand, this release includes an expanded size range, featuring women’s sizes for the first time. Additionally, the Desert Trek model exclusive to JiyongKim’s store will debut in a distinctive fabric and color, further enhancing its individuality within the collection.
