As a die-hard fan of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, I couldn’t be more thrilled to hear that this gripping adventure series is making its way to the big screen! John Krasinski, who has effortlessly brought the character to life on the small screen, is returning to the role – and let me tell you, I can hardly contain my excitement!
The popular Amazon MGM series based on Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan character is making its way onto the big screen.
The company is producing a movie where John Krasinski, known for his leading roles, will reprise his character as the brave CIA analyst in the main role. Additionally, Wendell Pierce, famous for his work on “The Wire,” is expected to return, and Michael Kelly from “House of Cards” is currently in talks to join again.
For the upcoming feature film, Andrew Bernstein – previously involved as an executive producer and director in season two – will take on the role of director. The script for this project was written by Aaron Rabin, a co-executive producer and writer from season four.
The television show “Jack Ryan” is set in contemporary times and features characters and the so-called “Ryanverse” created by author Clancy. This popular series has been streamed on Amazon Prime Video and is listed as one of their top three most-watched shows worldwide.
Feature creation is handled by Krasinski and Allyson Seeger under their Sunday Night label, while Andrew Form is another producer involved in the project.
Ryan is jointly created by Paramount Pictures and Skydance, with Skydance’s David Ellison and Dana Goldberg serving as executive producers, along with John Kelly and Carlton Cuse.
As a passionate gamer, I’ve just added some new titles to my directorial resume! Most recently, I’ve been behind the scenes for multiple episodes of “Welcome to Derry” on HBO, and I also contributed to the first season of “The Diplomat” on Netflix. You can find me represented by powerhouses like CAA, Industry Entertainment Partners, and McKuin Frankel.
Lately, Rabin has been involved with “Nobody 2,” an action thriller featuring Bob Odenkirk that’s currently undergoing post-production at Universal. His script titled “Towers” made it onto the 2020 Black List. He is represented by CAA and Untitled Entertainment.
As a devoted admirer, I’m excited to share that John Krasinski, known not only for his acting prowess but also his skillful filmmaking, has recently taken on multiple roles in the heartwarming family fantasy “IF.” Alongside Ryan Reynolds, he starred in this production. Additionally, under his own banner, he was instrumental in producing “A Quiet Place: Day One,” an expansion of his successful and chilling creature feature franchise. Krasinski continues to impress, with representation by WME and Schreck Rose.
Pierce is represented by the Paradigm Talent Agency and Frankfurt Kurnit, while Kelly is represented by William Morris Endeavor (WME), Liebman Entertainment, and Schreck Rose.
