As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for both virtual and real-life adventures, the news of Kiko Kostadinov setting up shop in Los Angeles has sent my adrenaline soaring! The fusion of art and fashion that this London-based designer brings to the table is nothing short of exhilarating.
Following the launch of his inaugural permanent store in Tokyo earlier this year, London-born and Bulgarian designer Kiko Kostadinov has now established himself in America, opening a flagship store in Los Angeles, California.
Located in Los Angeles’ Melrose Hill art district, the store shares a similar design philosophy to the one Ryan Trecartin created for Kostadinov’s Tokyo branch. This design is currently undergoing a transformation through a two-part visual story. In California, just like in Japan, this retail space will continue to adapt over time.
As we kick things off, we’ll dive into phase one – the setup stage, or as I like to call it, a “pre-launch prototype.” Here, you’ll see temporary structures, placeholder materials, and detailed rendering plans that make it seem like the game is already in production. But fear not, this isn’t the final version!
Significantly, the newest branch of Kostadinov’s brand will stock all his collections, ranging from men’s and women’s clothing, bags, accessories, shoes, and exclusive projects in various categories.
Check out Kiko Kostadinov’s newly opened Los Angeles store located at the given address. Here’s a sneak peek of the shop for you!
