Lexus Unveils Surf LX Concept and Expands Partnership with World Surf League

At the 2025 Lexus Pipe Pro event held on Oahu, Hawaii, Lexus is creating a splash by introducing the Surf LX concept vehicle. Simultaneously, they’ve broadened their ongoing collaboration with the World Surf League (WSL), which will continue for several years.

Under this fresh contract, Lexus will assume the leading role as the headline sponsor for five significant World Surf League (WSL) events in 2025: the WSL Awards, Pipe Pro, Trestles Pro, US Open of Surfing, and WSL Finals. Furthermore, Lexus will expand its collaboration to Fiji, becoming a part of the eagerly awaited WSL Finals at Cloudbreak.

According to Lisa McQueen, media manager from Lexus marketing, both Lexus and WSL are bound by a common passion for innovation, quality, and performance. This strengthened alliance will enable us to take the fan experience to unprecedented levels, crafting unforgettable experiences within the surfing community.

The most captivating aspect of the unveiling was the introduction of the Lexus Surf LX, an exclusive luxury SUV specifically tailored for surfers. Drawing inspiration from surf culture and consulting with professional surfers such as Griffin Colapinto, this vehicle seamlessly combines coastal style with practicality.

Distinctively, the Surf LX sports a matte blue exterior that mimics the flow of ocean waves, highlighted by a striking white roofline and accents in black. Inside, tough leather upholstery combines with custom 20-inch gray wheels and robust 33-inch all-terrain tires, providing durability against sand, saltwater, and rough coastal landscapes.

The trunk is specifically crafted for thrilling experiences, featuring slide-out storage compartments, a surfboard holder, an integrated cooler, a workspace for waxing boards, and a changeable turf mat. A custom cage exterior and a lit rear ladder ensure effortless access to the rooftop rack. However, as of now, Leuxs has not disclosed any intentions for a market release of this vehicle.
