As a long-time fan of Lil Baby, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of anticipation as we approach the release of his fourth studio album, WHAM. Having grown up in Atlanta myself, I can relate to the grind and hustle that Baby speaks of in the trailer. His journey from the streets of Atlanta to the top of the hip-hop world is a testament to the power of determination and resilience.
The features on this album are nothing short of impressive – Young Thug, Future, Rod Wave, Glorilla, Rylo, Travis Scott, and 21 Savage – each bringing their unique flavor to the table. I can’t wait to hear how these collaborations turn out, as Baby continues to push boundaries with his music.
The title of the album, WHAM, stands for “Who Hard as Me?” and that’s exactly what Baby is asking us to consider. He’s not just surviving – he’s proving himself, day by day, track by track. I can’t help but feel a little bit starstruck knowing that I’ll be listening to the same music as one of my heroes.
As for the album cover and tracklist, they are both sleek and simple, yet somehow manage to capture the raw energy and intensity of Baby’s music. I can only imagine what kind of fire he’s going to bring with this new project.
In closing, I have to add a little joke – I guess it’s safe to say that if you’re not listening to Lil Baby on January 3, then you might just be soft as a marshmallow. But hey, that’s just me being a bit cheeky! Can’t wait for the new year and the release of WHAM – keep grinding, Lil Baby!
2024 has only a few hours left, but Lil Baby continues to work tirelessly. The artist is preparing for the launch of his fourth studio album titled “WHAM“, scheduled for global release on January 3. He has already released the official trailer for the project.
Last week, the cover and tracklist for the album were unveiled, featuring collaborations with artists like Young Thug, Future, Rod Wave, Glorilla, Rylo, Travis Scott, and 21 Savage. The album, titled WHAM, is a question meaning “Who’s Harder than Me?”, and it consists of fifteen tracks in total.
In the opening of the video, the rapper expresses a sentiment that seems to be deeply rooted in his hometown: “It’s not just about surviving where I come from; it’s about demonstrating your strength and resilience.” He further challenges, “Out here, you have to prove yourself. Can anyone match my determination?
He glides through his Atlanta, Georgia community, identifying the individuals and locales that showed him how to “work hard, navigate, and maintain success.
