LISA Makes Her Louis Vuitton Campaign Debut

Lisa is rapidly becoming a fashion trendsetter, extending her influence beyond the K-pop realm. For the very first time, she graces the Louis Vuitton ad campaign, appearing in their spring collection, which was photographed by Steven Meisel amidst artworks by contemporary French artist Laurent Grasso.

Embracing the captivating, retro-futuristic vibe of Grasso’s artworks, I find myself deeply drawn to Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2025 campaign. These magnificent paintings serve as a grand canvas for this collection, providing an extraordinary setting that transports us through time and space.

Reminiscent of the landscapes in Grasso’s masterpieces, three looks from the runway presentation held at Cour Carrée last October are brought to life once more in this campaign. The LV Spring 2025 collection draws inspiration from no less than three stunning works hailing from Grasso’s “Studies Into the Past” series. This series showcases the artist’s exceptional composition skills and a keen eye for historical techniques, offering a glimpse into the past as well as a window to the future.

Grasso shared with WWD that he was deeply inspired by Nicolas Ghesquière’s approach to selecting unique and impactful locations for his runway shows. This is a concept he has emphasized in his own work, as he feels that places hold power and energy, which he attempts to convey through the 20 films he’s created, each focusing on distinct locations and scenarios.

Additionally, Grasso admired how Ghesquière combined pop culture with LISA and campaign star Saoirse Ronan. He found the blend of the brand, their work, and his paintings (subtly integrated in the backdrop) to be a truly remarkable combination.

Last summer, LISA became an ambassador for Louis Vuitton, joining J-Hope, Sophie Turner, Zendaya, and others. Here’s a glimpse of her first official collaboration with the label in the campaign displayed above.
