Lizzo Is “Still Bad” On Latest Comeback Single

On Thursday, Lizzo unveiled her new song “Still Bad,” which marks the second track from her forthcoming fifth studio album titled “Love in Real Life.

The tune ‘Still Bad’ carries a vibe reminiscent of Lizzo, featuring a lively, upbeat pop rhythm where the artist exuberantly moves past heartache by asserting she prefers a beverage over him, transforming her suffering into celebration with champagne. The song was penned by Lizzo herself along with Blake Slatkin, who also co-produced ‘About Damn Time’, and Ricky Reed, a frequent collaborator on hits like ‘Juice’, ‘Good as Hell’ and ‘Truth Hurts’ of hers.

Following ‘Love In Real Life,’ her new single and album title, is currently titled ‘Still Bad.’ As of now, there’s no set release date for this upcoming LP, which marks Lizzo’s first full-length album since ‘Special,’ a contender for the Grammy award for Album of the Year.

As a devoted fan, I’m excited to share that Lizzo has just released a new single – her first since navigating some challenging times. Back in 2023, she faced sexual harassment allegations from some of her former employees. However, she vehemently denied these claims and addressed them candidly during a podcast conversation with Keke Palmer in December. In that interview, she shared that she was taken aback by the accusations, expressing that she had been blindsided. Despite the obstacles, Lizzo’s resilience and musical talent continue to shine brightly!

On a recent Wednesday evening at the Wiltern in Los Angeles, Lizzo performed a low-key show – her first since legal actions were initiated. During her performance, she opened up about the hardships she’s faced over the past few years, confessing to the audience that she had been “overwhelmed by the state of the world and so devastated by pain that I questioned my will to live.

On March 16, she’s scheduled for another intimate performance at Irving Plaza in New York, while on March 18, she will play a third concert at First Avenue in Minneapolis.
