2025’s remaining months are set to bring Bollywood films starring well-known actors into cinemas. Originally, TopMob announced that Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par would premiere in theaters on June 20th. However, due to a scheduling conflict, Rajkummar Rao’s gangster film Maalik, initially planned for the same date, has been rescheduled to July 11th to avoid competition.
On April 25, 2025, Rajkummar Rao shared via Instagram the updated release date for his upcoming film titled Maalik. The post showcased a captivating poster of Rajkummar, portraying a gangster character, perched atop a vehicle brandishing a gun. His intense gaze, fixed squarely on the camera, added to the intrigue surrounding the film.
The title of the post states, “Power, influence, and reign will belong to ‘Maalik’ starting from July 11th. The movie ‘Maalik’ will be available in theaters from July 11th.

In this rendition, the film titled “Maalik” is orchestrated by Pulkit. The production duties are handled by Kumar Taurani and Jay Shewakramani. This cinematic offering is a collaboration between Tips Films and Northern Lights Films Production.
With the postponement of Maalik, it won’t be clashing with Sitaare Zameen Par anymore.
Previously, it was exclusively unveiled that the movie “Sitaare Zameen Par” will make its grand appearance on the silver screen on June 20, 2025. In this production, we find Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh, and Darsheel Safary taking center stage. The film is skillfully directed by RS Prasanna.
