Martine Rose x Clarks FW24 Offers a Puffed and Playful Spin on Archival Classics

As a fashion enthusiast with a penchant for bold and innovative designs, I am thrilled to see Martine Rose and Clarks collaborating yet again! Having grown up in London during the 90s, I remember the classic Clarks styles gracing the feet of my peers, and it’s fascinating to witness how this timeless brand is being reinvented with a modern twist.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that Martine Rose and Clarks are back with a stunning collection of footwear! They’ve reimagined classic Clarks designs by infusing them with vibrant colors, luxurious textures on the leather, and cushioned uppers for maximum comfort. This fresh drop is sure to level up my gaming style!

2023 marked a pivotal year for me as I stepped into the role of guest creative director for Clarks. As a British-Jamaican designer, I’ve always been inspired by a unique blend of cultures, and this was reflected in my debut collection, “Coming Up Roses.” This collection isn’t just about style; it’s about comfort too. We’ve managed to strike a balance between the two, creating shoes that are as comfortable as they are stylish.

In the upcoming season, I’m excited to see my beloved styles, such as the Oxford and The Loafer, make a comeback, this time with plush leather padding. These voluminous designs are set to steal the spotlight, and Rose has given them a fresh update by drenching each pair in unique, bold colors like classic black, lilac purple, and vibrant tangerine orange.

The latest assortment gives a fresh take on the Torhill Hi by Clarks, modeled after Wallabees, featuring a walnut brown faux crocodile skin and a gold-stamped Martine Rose x Clarks label. For a casual yet stylish slip-on look, The Clog is available in faux-crocodile, leather fur, and performance materials, sitting atop a patterned sports midsole.

Additionally, Rose and Clark provide a selection of two-heeled options such as the mid-heeled Loafers and the sleek, low-heeled Slingbacks, both featuring cushioned upper sections to maintain comfort.

In September, Martine Rose showcased a refreshed version of the Clarks Desert Trek as part of a joint collection with Supreme. This collaboration resulted in the Martine Rose x Supreme Clarks Desert Trek, which was presented in three different color options and crafted using faux crocodile material.

Check out some standout pieces in the gallery up top. The Martine Rose X Clarks FW24 line is already on sale, only at Martine Rose and Clarks’ online shops. Starting October 10th, it will also be offered at various retailers worldwide.
