- Marvel Contest of Champions is launching its 10th-anniversary celebration
- Deadpool has received a modern makeover
- Help Deadpool & Wolverine save their friends in a limited-time quest
As a long-time fan of Marvel Contest of Champions and avid mobile gamer, I am thrilled to see the game celebrating its 10th anniversary with a series of exciting updates. The new Deadpool makeover and limited-time quest featuring him and Wolverine are especially intriguing for me, as these two characters have always been fan favorites in both the comics and the game.
10-year anniversary festivities for Marvel Contest of Champions are underway, featuring a fresh logo, trailer, and game upgrades. Additionally, as part of the celebration, developer Kabam teamed up with Google Play at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con to introduce the Google Play Wheel of Champions.
1. At Martin Luther King Jr. Promenade, a massive prize wheel stood during the specified dates (July 25th-28th). This attraction was open to everyone. During San Diego Comic-Con, Google Play Points members had an opportunity to exchange their points for special perks. To kick off the anniversary festivities, Kabam unveiled a fresh CG trailer entitled “Deadpool & Wolverine: BFFs.” The latest trailer showcases Deadpool, Wolverine, and other beloved X-Men characters.
1. Option: Besides that, you have an exciting opportunity to embark on a unique side mission called “Deadpool & Wolverine: Alpha Fight.” This adventure will be accessible until August 7th, where these legendary characters team up to save their companions. You’ll accomplish weekly tasks and individual goals to collect enticing prizes such as cosmetics inspired by Deadpool and Wolverine. Additionally, Deadpool’s appearance in the game will be revamped to resemble his new film look, courtesy of Kabam.
In simple terms, Marvel Contest of Champions is a mobile action game featuring Marvel characters pitted against each other. You’ll gather heroes and villains, enhance their abilities, and build your ideal squad. Additionally, you have the option to join an alliance where collaborative tasks yield rewards.
Along with the previously mentioned improvements, Marvel Contest of Champions has recently introduced two new characters: Patriot and The Leader. Eli Bradley, known as Patriot, is a descendant of one of the original super-soldiers and helped establish the Young Avengers. In contrast, The Leader started out as a high school dropout but gained an insatiable hunger for knowledge following a gamma explosion at a chemical plant.
The Marvel Contest of Champions app can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. For additional information about this thrilling action game, check out its official website or connect with it on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
