This month, the brand-new season of Marvel Snap has arrived, focusing on the theme of legacy. The character Sam Wilson now takes center stage as the latest Captain America, introducing innovative gameplay elements that alter the course of your battles. Accompanying him are characters such as Diamondback and Thaddeus Ross, adding complexity to the strategic landscape, ensuring an exciting gaming experience for you this month.
In Sam Wilson’s premiere appearance within Marvel Snap, he arrives with a Season Pass that charts his transformation from Falcon to Captain America. His card skill initiates Captain America’s shield at the onset of every game, positioning it in a random spot on the board. The shield can be moved across the battlefield, and although it cannot be destroyed, it enhances Sam’s power by +2 whenever it settles in his location.
The list of characters is growing as new ones are introduced in February. Joaquín Torres enters on February 4th, followed by Iron Patriot and Thaddeus Ross on February 11th. Redwing appears on the 18th, and Diamondback wraps up the month on February 25th. The Series 5 cards will cycle through both the Token Shop and Spotlight Cache, providing you with various methods to obtain them.
Two new spots, the Smithsonian Museum and Madripoor, are joining Marvel Snap. The Smithsonian Museum increases the power of every card in your Ongoing abilities by 1, while Madripoor amplifies the strength of your most expensive cards at its location by 2 after each round. These locations call for unique deck constructions, so be ready to adjust your strategy to make the most of this season’s strategic playground.

For enthusiasts of collecting, February offers fresh albums filled with avatars, emotes, and different versions. The Viktor Farro album launches on February 4th, offering rewards such as a Darkhawk variant and collector’s tokens. Towards the end of February, on the 25th, the Lemon Fashion album is set to arrive, boasting exclusive Elsa Bloodstone content.
