Update: The eagerly awaited collection, MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, is almost upon us! This compilation of seven legendary games will launch digitally next week on September 12 across the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 (with PlayStation 5 compatibility), and Steam. A physical version will follow on November 22. Those who prefer to play on Xbox will have to wait until 2025 for their turn, as the Xbox One version (compatible with Xbox Series X|S) is scheduled for release then. In an exciting development, Marvel and Capcom are reviving several timeless video game favorites as they launch the MARVEL vs. CAPCOM: Classic Clashes – Arcade Edition
This year, the collection featuring seven classic games – X-Men: Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of the Superheroes, Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, X-Men vs. Streetfighter, and The Punisher – will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Each title will come equipped with new and improved features such as online multiplayer, global high score leaderboards, training modes, spectator mode, a music jukebox, an in-game museum, new display filters, and more for an enhanced gaming experience
