My Talking Hank: Islands – 10 Tips & Tricks to get the most out of Ice Island

Update on My Talking Hank: Islands – A major overhaul has introduced a fresh island for players to explore, named Ice Island! Jump on board Hank’s boat and sail across the ocean to this icy wonderland, brimming with exciting adventures. With the addition of a new island comes brand-new animals, challenges, and hidden treasures waiting to be found. To help you maximize your experience on Ice Island in My Talking Hank: Islands, here are ten tips and tricks for you!

1 Keep warm & well fed with winter woolies and frozen treats

After arriving at Ice Island, you’ll spot a compact changing cabin identified by a sign displaying a T-shirt. Give the booth a gentle tap and instantly, Hank will transform into a warm, snug attire suitable for the frigid landscape. Additionally, you can gather individual pieces of Hank’s updated winter wardrobe from the trunk at his Tree House.

Whenever Hank gets hungry, don’t forget to look in the refrigerator for the latest Ice Island delights. You’ll find there an ice cream sundae, a refreshing soda, and a cloud-like pile of cotton candy – exactly what he needs to fill up!

2 Hop on the Snowmobile and explore

Feel free to traverse Ice Island on foot, giving yourself ample time to examine every intricate detail as you trek through the snow. However, if you’re looking for a quicker mode of transportation, consider using the snowmobile. You can find its charging station near the dock, simply tap to hop on. It has a battery level indicator up front, and once it depletes, you’ll need to return it to the charging station and continue your exploration on foot until it recharges.

3 Race the Snow Leopard

On Ice Island, the Snow Leopard is among the latest additions to our animal companions, and he enjoys competing against Hank in a snowy canyon race. Given his speed, Hank must employ his snowmobile to have any hope of keeping up. Navigate the snowmobile by moving your finger left or right at the screen’s base. Avoid obstacles such as holes and trees while aiming for coins and speed boosters. The speed boosters provide an extra push, and they can even propel you over hurdles and gaps. If you’re constantly colliding, keep an eye out for the shield power-up, which will let you ram into obstacles without losing momentum.

4 Climb the Ice Cliff

The Snow Leopard isn’t only swift on land; he’s also an exceptional ice climber. Not only can you run against him, but you can challenge him in a climbing race on the icy cliffs near his home. On Hank’s side of the wall, all rocky handholds are marked with red, green, or yellow colors. To scale the wall, press the bottom screen button that matches the color of the next grip. Be quick to outpace the Snow Leopard and reach the top first. With practice, you’ll improve your speed, so if you don’t win initially, just tap the rope icon to slide back down the cliff and try again.

5 Bounce the floatie as far as you can

Initially, guide Hank by pressing the floatie button when the arrow is in the center of the green zone. Continuously tap it whenever Hank is above any underwater object, such as ice floes, crabs, penguins, or even the Orca itself. When you press, Hank will forcefully land, and if he hits something substantial (not water), he’ll bounce higher and farther. Time your taps perfectly to make Hank travel a great distance.

6 Solve the Orca’s Amazing Ice Maze

In Orca’s aquatic play area, there are some uniquely molded ice cubes and stones, one of which bears a splash of green pigment. To initiate the Orca’s ice maze challenge, simply tap on these colored stones. The objective in each labyrinth is to navigate to the painted stone at the opposite end without slipping into the chilly water. As you progress, you’ll encounter choices between two stones, both adorned with a yellow arrow. Tap one of those markers, and Hank will leap to that spot. Be mindful as you traverse the maze, for you can amass coins along the way, but beware of ice blocks! When you step on an ice block, it shatters and breaks, so make sure to hop to the next stone before it caves in under Hank’s weight.

7 Play Penguin Pop-shot with the Seal

The Seal delightfully engages in a spirited snowball fight with its fellow residents, the penguins. To initiate this fun-filled activity, simply tap on the Seal. Then, swipe your finger horizontally at the screen’s bottom to control the snowball cannon. The cannon automatically fires snowballs; however, you’ll need to focus on aiming at the penguins and dodging the snowballs they hurl back at you. If one of their projectiles hits you, your cannon will momentarily stop firing. Knock out all the penguins to receive an impressive prize!

8 Go sledding with the Seal

To begin the sled ride, simply touch the seal or his sled. This experience is similar to the Snow Leopard’s snowmobile race, but you’ll be sliding down the screen at increasing speeds. Control your sled by swiping your finger left or right at the bottom of the screen, and aim for the checkpoints. Keep a keen eye out for obstacles, try to pass through the checkpoints, and use ramps for exhilarating jumps! Reach five checkpoints to finish the activity and receive a reward.

9 Complete the New Arctic Sticker Albums

Hooray for sticker enthusiasts! Whether you’ve already filled up all the albums from Hank’s Tropical Island or are still working on it, there are fresh Ice Island albums and Ice Island stickers waiting to be collected. Gather stickers to complete the images of Hank’s arctic escapades and receive rewards. You can find sticker packs scattered across Ice Island, and you can also earn them by watching advertisements and accomplishing animal tasks.

10 Redecorate Hank’s Tree House with a winter theme

Visit Hank’s Treehouse, then click the paint roller button to initiate redecorating. Observe that at the top right corner there’s a fresh tab with an image of snow-capped mountains. Click this tab to explore the latest Ice Island decorations and furniture. Utilize these new items to transform Hank’s Treehouse into a snug winter cabin, providing warmth and shelter from the cold weather outside.
