Nicky Campbell has new management.
The popular trend analyst has joined forces with The Jeffries, a small yet influential talent management and brand development firm that operates out of New York and Los Angeles. Campbell will collaborate extensively with manager Avie Acosta to broaden his professional horizons across various channels, creative projects, and real-life events.
Recent news reveals Campbell’s appointment as a new manager, following his labeling as a “particularly discerning and meticulous” TikToker by fashion designer Bella Freud in a private chat with Cate Blanchett. This is the very reason behind Campbell’s rapid rise on TikTok and social media platforms over the past year.
During an unexpected, hungover moment, Campbell decided to comment on the red carpet at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards and share his thoughts on TikTok. His witty, concise, yet always clear (and sometimes amusing) comments quickly gained popularity. As he recalled in an interview with People, he joked, “I thought, ‘What should I do today? I’ll just talk about that red carpet I’ve been thinking about.'” His rapid-fire comments on the outfits of numerous stars soon became viral and unexpectedly kickstarted Campbell’s career as a Los Angeles native influencer. He had moved to New York in 2014 to attend Parsons School of Design.
Following his graduation, Campbell, who has been recognized as one of the 50 individuals influencing fashion and beauty by Glossy, proceeded to strengthen his fashion background through roles at Vogue and Thom Browne. Subsequently, he took on the position of the first digital editor for the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). Later, he played a significant role in planning the social and digital strategy for the debut of Balmain Beauty in collaboration with Estée Lauder.
Campbell becomes part of the lineup at The Jeffries, which already features Evan Mock, Luna Blaise, NLE Choppa, Julia Fox, Pierce Abernathy, and several other notable figures.
