Night Court Season 3 Will Be Hosting A Major Big Bang Theory Universe Reunion

The world of Judge Abby Stone (played by Melissa Rauch) in “Night Court” has grown increasingly chaotic throughout Season 3, and things are set to become even more unpredictable as characters from Rauch’s past, particularly those with a scientific bent, make their appearance. Following the introduction of other “The Big Bang Theory” stars in earlier episodes, Simon Helberg – best known for his role as Howard Wolowitz on the show, and whose character tied the knot with Rauch’s Bernadette Rostenkowski – will feature in the Season 3 finale of this sitcom. Details about his role are scant, but it is described as significant, potentially altering the trajectory of lovelorn Abby forever.

Additionally appearing in the final episode of “Night Court” is Raegan Revord, known for her role as Missy Cooper on “Young Sheldon” and occasionally reprising that role on “Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage.” In this episode, Revord will play Shelby, part of a young couple who elope against their parents’ wishes. Abby is tasked with resolving the situation. NBC has announced that this episode will be a tribute to a similar storyline from Season 1 titled “Santa Goes Downtown,” where Michael J. Fox portrayed one of the teenage lovers. Furthermore, educational themes continue throughout Season 3, as two actors from “The Big Bang Theory” universe have already appeared and another is set to make an earlier appearance in the series.

Three other actors from The Big Bang Theory universe have been on Night Court

In Season 3 of “Night Court”, there has been one familiar face from the “Big Bang Theory” world – Mayim Bialik, known for her role as Amy Farrah Fowler, made an appearance in the episode titled “Mayim Worst Enemy”. As suggested by the title, she portrayed a somewhat twisted version of herself in this particular episode. In addition to this, another actor from “The Big Bang Theory”, Kate Micucci, who played Lucy on the show, appeared in Season 3 as Carol Ann, daughter of the unlucky redneck couple Bob and June Wheeler (played by Brent Spiner and Annie O’Donnell). Interestingly, this is her second appearance on “Night Court”, having first been introduced as the character in Season 2’s episode “Wheelers of Fortune”.

In Season 2, Kunal Nayyar from “The Big Bang Theory” wasn’t the sole actor to make an appearance. On his “Night Court” episode, he continued a running joke from “Big Bang Theory.” Kunal Nayyar, who played Raj on the show, brought vibrant color and humor to Martini Todd Wallace in “A Crime of Fashion.” Similar to how he portrayed Raj, Martini displayed these traits as a famous fashion designer. Unfortunately for Abby, she couldn’t handle the allure of the glamorous couture world, as Martini developed feelings for her. However, it’s possible that Simon Helberg’s character might be the one to win Abby’s heart in the future.
