As a gamer who’s been around since the dawn of time (or at least since the early 2010s), I can’t help but feel a pang of nostalgia as I watch Ninja, once the undisputed king of Fortnite, bid adieu to the game that made him a household name. It’s like watching an old friend move away, leaving behind memories of epic victories and hilarious fails.
In a new direction unlike any other, Fortnite’s veteran content creators and top streamers have moved on, paving the way for Chapter 5 Season 4.
The individuals whom countless gamers admired in their youth have now moved forward in life. At this moment, Benjy Fish (benjyfishy) is enjoying a second-place victory in the VALORANT world championships (VCT Champions), and Tyler Blevins (Ninja) is going through a personal realization.
As the one who’s always been passionate about gaming and witnessed the meteoric rise of Fortnite under Ninja, it’s now time for a shift. After an incredible run, I find myself parting ways with Fortnite to dive headfirst into the thrilling world of Call of Duty.
Ninja loses it with Fortnite, pledges to Call of Duty
Ninja officially quits Fortnite after having poor skills this season & says he’s moving to CoD!

In a series of videos shared on TikTok and Twitter (X), streamer Ninja expresses strong displeasure towards Fortnite’s Season 5, Series 4 (C5S4), using profanity upon experiencing several in-game deaths, showing his frustration.
“He expressed that since no one else seems to be, he felt compelled to point out that the current season is incredibly disappointing,” he stated in a video clip.
Instead of that, he expressed frustration saying, “He dealt 90hp damage while zooming about, man. I just can’t seem to get any shields!” Then, he exclaimed, “This game is infuriating! How on earth am I not protected with shields?”
The entire situation caused him to make a permanent exit from the game, since another player seemed to have shot him right through the wall.
“I don’t want to play this game anymore, get me off this s**t. I’m going to CoD,” he added.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 could be Call of Duty’s blessing
The ongoing Season in Fortnite hasn’t been met with favor among many players, as there seems to be a shift back toward a more quest-focused gameplay, rather than the traditional battle royale format.
Although it couldn’t be more perfectly timed, Black Ops 6’s beta is set for this weekend, which means Fortnite might find itself feeling a little down.
Similar to numerous others, Ninja has engaged with Warzone before, utilizing the combat royale skills he honed in games such as H1Z1 and Fortnite and applying them within Call of Duty’s shooting arena.
Perhaps the introduction of the omni-movement features could potentially be just what Call of Duty: Warzone lacks to lure players away from Fortnite and various other first-person shooter games, as the game seems to require a spark to rejuvenate its popularity.
